The Acura lineup will feature several updated vehicles for the 2010 model year. First is the TSX which, according to Acura Connecticut, will receive an optional V6. More recently, Acura also announced that the Acura RDX will receive an upgraded front fascia and the availability of front-wheel drive.

The larger crossover in the Acura lineup, the MDX, will also be getting attention for 2010. This includes updated exterior styling, improved performance, and an all-new six-speed automatic transmission, among other less notable chassis and technology enhancements.

Most will notice changes to the 2010 Acura MDX’s front fascia. The large crossover has been redesigned with the same treatment recently adorned on the smaller RDX, including a bolder front grille and trim that is similar to that of the Acura sedan lineup. There are now polished stainless steel exhaust tips and new taillights as well which customers feel make a tasteful new addition.

There have also been changes to the Acura MDX’s 3.7-liter V6 engine which now produces 300 horsepower and 270 lb ft of torque, but perhaps the most notable update is the addition of the six-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the chassis has been refined thanks to increased rigidity and a firmer trailing arm mounting. Unlike the recent availability of FWD on the RDX, DC Acura dealers say that Super Handling AWD is still standard on the MDX.

The interior of the 2010 Acura MDX also receives minor upgrades, including the availability of Milano leather, new gauges, and revamped interior trim. The MDX also receives Acura Link real-time weather and traffic data.
